April 2025: We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in either statistics, machine learning, or bioinformatics, focusing on the development computational methods for complex and large-scale biological data analysis. The application deadline is 15 May 2025, 11:55 PM AEST. Check here for more details.

Feb 2025: Welcome Ngoc Minh Vu, who will conduct research with us as part of the SCIE30001 Science Research Project during Semester 1. He will develop a software package for analyzing CRISPR-modified transcript isoforms at single-cell resolution using nanopore sequencing data.

Jan 2025: Welcome Dr. Sophie Wharrie, who has joined us as a Research Fellow. She brings extensive experience and expertise in ML/AI and will take a leading role in advancing AI-related research within our group.

Dec 2024: Welcome Li Fu Zhang and Christiaan Van Aardt, who will join us through the Vacation Scholarship Program to conduct research on phylogenetic analysis using AI-predicted protein structures and on investigating the generalisability of spatial features in spatial transcriptomics data.

Nov 2024: We are excited to announce that our team, led by Dr. Samantha Barton at the Florey, has been awarded FightMND funding to advance research in combating motor neuron disease. Check here for more details.
